Marin, my lovely, you captured Hailey and Joe beautifully. I love the sweet smiles and emotion in the bottom two images, and adore the fun in all the rest!!! Great job.
Snow is fun! Love these Marin.
WOW!! I love the blog and I think you did a perfect job documenting the torture Joe thinks is funny, lol. But on a serious note I appreciate that you were able to magnify the special, intimate moments Joe and I shared in the midsts of our silly snow adventure that day. Our close friends and family know how strong our bond is, but through these photos, you’ve captured how we feel for one another, and now everyone may see!! Anyway, Thanks for taking a risk and helping to make everything turn out the way we always wanted!!
Thank you Marin for such a memorable day! You have a charisma to you that truly compliments your work. You made it all so fun and natural, we couldn’t have hoped for better pics! You rock!
Stunning!
First time’s the charm, apparently! Great look, and the bright snow really lights up the pics!

Looks beautiful Marin, such gorgeous light. Great capture of these two.
I LOVE this shoot! I love the colors, the textures, the couple, the styling, the compositions, everything! You’re amazing at what you do Marin; Seriously, incredible.
I’m so thankful that we’re friends now and that I get to be inspired by such an amazing woman and photographer.
Ah, Jennifer – I feel exactly the same way about you
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words, they bless my heart so much. As for this post, I really like all the textures in this part of the session as well. We were headed to the beach, but the sun decided to come out last minute (therefore blinding light!) so we headed over to these weeds as a last minute location choice. I love how the orange in the background compliments her hair so much, and that sage bush was soooo cool. This local was honestly a Godsend. Such a fun session, I cannot wait to share more throughout the week.
Marin – you are so talented! I got a text from my friend tonight, saying you had posted the photos and I could not rush home faster to see them! Erik and I appreciate EVERYTHING you did for us for this shoot, choosing our story first of all of course, then driving to monterey, helping us choose locations, hanging out after – such a fun day! And everyone is right, your lighting and the colors look amazing. I loved the sage bush when you spotted in, but i think i love it even more seeing it now.
Can’t wait to see Chapter 2
THANK YOU

beautiful photos…for two beautiful people..inside and out….

“Marry me, today and every day…” – as those words poured out of the radio (in the car just 10 minutes after their session) I was immediately covered in a blanket of goose bumps. How could this moment be any more perfect? I had never heard this song before, and the lyrics just captured my...
