The little “italian” in me

Okay, okay… so maybe I’m not REALLY an italian, but every two weeks or so my family swears that I am when I make my home-made spaghetti. First off, I just want to warn you, that this recipe is nothing ultra special. It is just the plain ol’ spaghetti sauce recipe that I grew up...

Mr. and Mrs. Morgan :: Sneak Peek

Chad and Vanessa celebrated their wedding day just about a week ago at the rustic Old Sugar Mill located in Clarksburg, CA. This venue is unbelievably vintage, old, and pretty much falling apart at the seams. There were so many different textures for a photographer to simply fall in love with (as you can tell...

Marin you have such a creative, artistic eye. I think this wedding dress is the most beautiful and flattering one I have ever seen. Beautiful couple with some very special pictures to remember the day. WOW (Your comment is awaiting moderation)

Introducing sweet Addison

It was the perfect kind of day for a photography session when Mike and Shelby showed up at my door with their sweet bundle-of-pinkness in arms. There was a slight breeze with a touch of fall kissing the air. Yes, the weather was perfect for an engagement session, but not so perfect for a newborn...

Very cute!!!! Can’t wait for our new baby to have his or her photo shoot!!

Wilma Schwartz - September 14, 2010 - 6:37 pm

What a magnificent job of photographing little Addison! The quality of the photos reminds me of the pictutes that Celine Dion had made of her baby when he was born. These are just gorgeous! What keepsakes!

Marin Kristine - September 17, 2010 - 12:06 am

Thank you so much ladies! I absolutely loved working with little Addison. She is beautiful!!! It was such a pleasure and joy to photograph an infant so young. It was something new that I have never done before, and it was challenging to say the least. I had no idea that infant photography would be more time consuming than a regular session. I thought it would be as simple as pie. Sleeping baby = easy posing right? Nope. There was a lot of feeding, rocking, pooping, and wake up time. But, it was worth it, TOTALLY WORTH IT, and definitely a fun little experiment. I look forward to many more sessions in the future, when my fabulous brides and grooms make little ones! I love how the images turned out… and actually I have another session coming up very soon from one of my past brides.

Assistant position now available

It is time for some new changes within my business and SOMEONE out there has some pretty BIG shoes to fill. My (now) second shooter Katie has decided to go full time with her photography business (which has been her plan and direction all along, and I am so excited for her.) We have both grown...

Justin and Jenni : Wedding

I cannot even begin to express how much I loved being a part of this wedding. From the start Jenni was one of the most personable brides that I have ever had the honor to work with. We talked about her wedding on more than one occasion, I shared ideas with her, sent her links,...
