Getting away and taking a moment to breathe

It was one of those days…. (if you are married, or in a serious relationship, you know the days I am talking about) the ones filled with arguments, frustrations, or simply just getting underneath each others skin. It sometimes seems that the more your stuck in the house, the more mistakes are made and wrong words are said. So after a few arguments, and a few days of fighting, our resolution was to GET OUT and go to the beach. I needed to feel the wind in my hair, and stare out at some open space. I wanted to watch my daughter play in the waves, and get sand glued to her toes. Lucky for us, we are just a hop-skip-and-a-jump away from one of the most fabulous locations in the world, San Francisco’s Baker Beach. So we packed our blankets (because the beach is freezing here in Northern California,) grabbed our big puppy dog, and bolted out the door to watch the sunset and take a moment to breathe……

Marin your daughter is so big now and beautiful!! I didn’t realize her and Linzie are so close in age:-) Linzie was born August 24th. I miss you hun you are doing ammazing work keep it up! Danielle
