I have decided to start a new project for myself… I am calling it “straight out of camera”. HA! I know, I know, what an original name right? Not really, but hey – at least you know what I am talking about as soon as you read the title. So what is this silly thing all about? Nothing really, just – me grabbing my camera, at any random moment, (on the day I choose) and taking a few shots throughout the day in (yes) Manuel Mode. I will be posting my images here on my blog just as they are ’straight out of camera’ without all the fancy photoshop and filters. I am just challenging myself to pick up my camera every now and then, for me, and simply for fun! You guys will get to see that what my images look like without all the ‘bells and whistles’ and it will be challenging me to become a better photographer and try and get things right the first time — IN MY CAMERA! Well, here is the start of it, my day starting off with a bit of rain…
Had to start the day off right! With a little bit o’ Starbucks, YUM!
I love fields, they make me so happy! I took this picture while driving by (I pulled off the the side of the road & rolled down the window) LOL![]()
Got home to my dog snuggling in his bed. Oh how I love him!
I headed out to Berkley this early afternoon to meet up with Olivia from “Olive Route” Letter Press (her company) about my new business cards. I am so EXCITED about them. I have been working on these with her for the past month and today we finally discussed some final designing issues. It’s pretty much GOOD and ready to go, after a few more emails and decisions on my end… I should have them within a month. Can’t wait to share images of the final product with all of you! YAY!
